Railpool / HSL 193 813 "Ihr Ziel ist unser Weg - 25 Jahre Netzleitzentrale Frankfurt am Main" Wehrda (16303n)
Ab 01. Januar 2024 soll die Eisenbahninfrastruktur in Deutschland aus einer Hand gesteuert werden. Die DB Netz AG und die DB Station&Service AG werden zu einer neuen Infrastrukturgesellschaft zusammengeführt, der DB InfraGO AG. Das GO im Unternehmensnamen steht für „gemeinwohlorientiert“ – dies ist der klare Auftrag dieser neuen Gesellschaft. Aus meiner Sicht eine gute Sache, da man nun wohl akzeptiert, dass gewisse Bereiche der Daseinsfürsorge dienen und eben nicht gewinnorientiert betrieben werden können. Als minimale Nebenwirkung dieser neuen Struktur verliert die 193 813 von Railpool allerdings ihre anläßlich des Jubiläums 25 Jahre Netzleitzentrale Frankfurt am Main angebrachte Folierung früher als gedacht. Am 16. September 2023 bespannte sie noch im Auftrag der HSL den leeren Autotransportzug DGS 95221 von Hannover Wülfel nach Passau. Bei Wehrda im osthessischen Haunetal konnte ich die unter Fotografen und Trainspottern in dieser Aufmachung sehr beliebt gewesene Lok fotografieren.
From January 1, 2024, the rail infrastructure in Germany is to be managed from a single source. DB Netz AG and DB Station&Service AG will be merged to form a new infrastructure company, DB InfraGO AG. The GO in the company name stands for "oriented towards the common good" - this is the clear mission of this new company. In my view, this is a good thing, as it is now accepted that certain areas serve the common good and cannot be operated for profit. However, as a minimal side effect of this new structure, Railpool's 193 813 will lose its foliation applied on the celebration of 25 years of the Frankfurt am Main network control center earlier than expected. On September 16, 2023, it hauled the empty car transport train DGS 95221 from Hanover Wülfel to Passau on behalf of HSL. Near Wehrda in eastern Hesse, I was able to photograph the locomotive, which was very popular with photographers and trainspotters in this livery.
