In der Wintersaison 2022/23 verkehrte erneut der Turnuszug D 305 von Malmö nach Österreich. Das schwedische Unternehmen Snälltåget bot während der Ferien in Schweden und Dänemark eine Nachtzugverbindung beginnend in Malmö mit Halten in Høje Taastrup (ein Vorort von Kopenhagen), Odense and Kolding an. Ziel waren die Schigebiete in Tirol und im Salzburger Land. Im Vergleich zur vergangenen Saison wurde jedoch ein anderer Laufweg gewählt. Von Salzburg aus wurde die gesamte Giselabahn befahren und im Anschluss das Inntal bis nach Innsbruck HBF. Ab München Ost übernahm smart rail die Traktionierung. Am 07. Januar 2023 konnte ich den internationalen Fernzug bei Brixen im Thale mit dem Kitzbühler Horn im Bildhintergrund aufnehmen. Die 111 223 führte den an diesem Tage stark verspäteten Nachtzug durch die leider schneelose Landschaft.
In the winter season 2022/23, express train D 305 ran again from Malmö to Austria. The Swedish company Snälltåget offered a night train connection during the holidays in Sweden and Denmark, starting in Malmö with stops in Høje Taastrup (a suburb of Copenhagen), Odense and Kolding. The destination was the ski resorts in Tirol and Salzburger Land. Compared to the previous season, however, a different route was chosen. From Salzburg, the entire Gisela line was used and then the Inn Valley to Innsbruck main station. From Munich East, smart rail took over the traction. On 07 January 2023, I was able to take a picture of the international long-distance train near Brixen im Thale with the Kitzbühler Horn in the background. The 111 223 led the night train, which was heavily delayed on this day, through the unfortunately snowless landscape.
