HSL 185 642 "Natürlich!" Esslingen (13251n)
Am 15. Mai 2022 war die Strecke zwischen Plattling und Regensburg baustellenbedingt gesperrt, so dass einige Güterzüge großräumig umgeleitet wurden. "Highlight" war hierbei ein Neuwagentransport von Bratislava nach Aachen, der den Weg über München und im Anschluss über das Altmühltal nahm. Farblich perfekt zum Zug abgestimmt zeigte sich hierbei die 185 642 von HSL, die an diesem Tage von diversen Fotografen entlang des Laufwegs dokumentiert wurde. Aufgrund der Voranmeldungen hatte ich mich am westlichen Tunnelportal des Esslinger Tunnels positioniert. Dort klappte dann auch die Aufnahme wunschgemäß.
On 15 May 2022, the line between Plattling and Regensburg was closed due to construction work, so some of the freight trains were diverted over a wide area. The "highlight" was a new car transport from Bratislava to Aachen, which took the route via Munich and then through the Altmühl valley. HSL's 185 642 perfectly matched the colour of the train, which was documented by various photographers along the route on this day. Due to the advance notifications, I had positioned myself at the western tunnel portal of the Esslingen tunnel. There, the picture was taken as desired.
