Einst eine beliebte Fotostelle, hat das Motiv bei Herbertshofen durch den Bau einer Schallschutzmauer an Attraktivität eingebüßt. Vermutlich auch deswegen ist sie inzwischen praktisch zugewachsen. Am 29. Mai 2021 begegnete mir dort die für TXLogistik fahrende 193 647 mit dem DGS 40565 von Padborg nach Verona Q.E.. Der MRCE Vectron weist eine Seitenwerbung auf, die an die wichtige Rolle des Schienengüterverkehrs während der Pandemie erinnern soll. Die eigentliche Besonderheit der Lok ist allerdings fotografisch kaum umsetzbar. Die Schrift leuchtet nämlich im Dunkeln. Um diesen Effekt zu erzielen, hat man wohl lumineszierendes Material verwendet.
Once a popular photo spot, the motif near Herbertshofen has lost some of its attractiveness due to the construction of a noise protection wall. Probably because of this, it is now practically overgrown. On 29 May 2021, I encountered 193 647 driving for TXLogistik with DGS 40565 from Padborg to Verona Q.E.. The MRCE Vectron features side advertising to commemorate the important role of rail freight during the pandemic. The actual special feature of the locomotive, however, is hardly photographically realisable. The lettering glows in the dark. To achieve this effect, luminescent material was used.
