Lokomotion 151 074 Kottgeisering (8285n)
Nach Fertigstellung der Elektrifizierung der Strecke über Memmingen nach Lindau gibt es dort inzwischen auch einige private Güterzüge zu beobachten. Neben gelegentlich verkehrenden Kesselwagen- und Getreidezügen handelt es sich dabei primär um Containerzüge von und nach Wolfurt in Vorarlberg. Neben RheinCargo und der SETG bietet auch Lokomotion eine Verbindung in Eigenregie an. Allerdings läßt die Auslastung der Züge aktuell oft zu wünschen übrig. Teilweise nur mit einem Container beladen, kommt beim Fotografen und insbesondere bei den Kaufleuten des jeweiligen EVUs wenig Freude auf. Die Zeit wird zeigen, ob sich die neuen Angebote erablieren - zu wünschen ist es auf jeden Fall. Am 31. März 2021 hatte ich allerdings Glück, der DGS 41911 von München-Riem nach Wolfurt war halbwegs akzeptabel beladen. Bei Kottgeisering konnte ich den Wolfurt-Shuttle mit seiner Zuglok 151 074 in der vorfrühlingshaften Landschaft fotografieren.
After completion of the electrification of the line via Memmingen to Lindau, there are now also some private freight trains to be observed there. Apart from occasional tank wagon and grain trains, these are primarily container trains to and from Wolfurt in Vorarlberg. In addition to RheinCargo and SETG, Lokomotion also offers a connection under its own management. However, the capacity utilisation of the trains currently often falls short. Partly loaded with only one container, the photographer and especially the merchants of the respective RU are not very happy. Time will tell whether the new services will become established - in any case, it is to be wished. On 31 March 2021, however, I was lucky: DGS 41911 from Munich-Riem to Wolfurt was halfway acceptably loaded. Near Kottgeisering, I was able to photograph the Wolfurt shuttle with its locomotive 151 074 in the early spring landscape.
