Am Abend des 24. Juni 2020 eilte die 223 069 bei Heimhofen im Westallgäu mit ihrem ALX 84117 gen München HBF. Schon seit Jahrzehnten wird dieser Standpunkt im Hochsommer von Eisenbahnfotografen genutzt, um im warmen Abendlicht Aufnahmen zu machen. Dieses Jahr lockten noch für das Motiv passende längere Schnellzüge. Ob das ab nächsten Jahr bei kurzen Triebzügen auch noch der Fall sein wird?
In the evening of 24 June 2020, the 223 069 rushed to Munich main station with its ALX 84117 near Heimhofen in the western Allgäu. For decades now, railway photographers have been using this position in the middle of summer to take pictures in the warm evening light. This year, longer express trains suitable for the motif were tempting. Will this still be the case with short multiple unit trains next year?
