ELL / LTE 193 232 "Flying Dutchmann" Wernfeld (0176n)
Dem Design der ELL-Vectrons kann ich normalerweise wenig abgewinnen. Es gibt allerdings ein paar wenige Exemplare, deren Gestaltung durchaus gefällig ist. So zum Beispiel die 100. an einen Kunden verleaste Maschine. 193 232 erinnert an diesen Meilenstein und mit dem Namen "Flying Dutchman" an das Geschäftsfeld der LTE - Häfen und Containerterminals in Europa zu verbinden. Am 05. Mai 2018 konnte ich diese Lokomotive mit dem gut ausgelasteten DGS 41966 von Linz nach Maasvlakte bei Wernfeld im Maintal fotografieren.
Normally I don't like the design of the ELL-Vectrons. But there are some engines among them that are showing a nice layout - for example 193 232 which remembers with its lettering on the sides that it is number 100 of leased engines from ELL to their customers. Also it is called "Flying Dutchman" and is referring to the business of hirer LTE - connecting the ports and container terminals of Europe. On May 05th 2018 I took this picture of 193 232 hauling container train DGS 41966 from Linz in Austria to Maasvlakte in the Netherlands passing through the valley of the Main river.
