AKE E10 1309 Bischofshofen (6126)
Meine "Jagd" nach den Schizügen in der Saison 2018 ist bisher nicht von Erfolg gekrönt. Bisher verhinderte trotz guter Wetterprognosen stets starker Nebel brauchbare Aufnahmen. Von der Bespannung zeigten sich die beiden auf der Giselabahn verbleibenden Turnuszüge bisher attraktiv, der D 13187 wurde bisher verläßlich von der AKE E10 1309 von Wörgl nach Schladming und zurück befördert. Nach Ankunft in Schladming fährt der Alpen Express als Lp 85104 zurück nach Bischofshofen. Dort wird der Wagenpark hinterstellt, behandelt und gesäubert. Am 13. Januar 2018 erwartete ich diese Leistung am Ufer der Salzach bei Bischofshofen. In langsamer Fahrt überquerte E 10 1309 mit ihrem Zug die Brücke und zumindest latentes Sonnenlicht beschien die frostige Szenerie.
This season I wasn't very successful taking pictures of the night trains for tourists from Holland to the ski resorts of Tirol and Salzburg. Despite good weather forecasts there was always heavy fog in the mountain area around Schladming. Which was a pity because of the fact that this year the locomotives hauling these trains were quite interesting. Especially AKE's E 10 1309 which could be seen in front of D 13187 from Wörgl to Schladming and back every Saturday since the beginning of this season. After arriving in Schladming the Alpen Express returns to Bischofshofen in order to park and clean the coaches there. At January 13th 2018 I awaited the train near Bischofshofen. The beautiful classy express train engine from the 1960ies crossed the bridge over the Salzach river at slow speed and a least some sunbeams illuminated the frosty scenery.
