In dieser Saison verkehrt wieder ein Turnuszug im Ennstal. Der D 13187 aus Den Haag wird über Bischofshofen hinaus bis nach Schladming verlängert. Für die Traktionierung ist nach wie vor Lokomotion zuständig und so ist für Abwechslung beim Triebfahrzeugeinsatz gesorgt. Am 07. Januar 2017 kam beispielsweise die 187 308 von Railpool zum Einsatz. Bei Altenmarkt im Pongau wartete ich bei zweistelligen Minusgraden auf den Schizug. Die frisch verschneite Landschaft und der abwechslungsreiche Wagenpark ließen mich dies aber gerne in Kauf nehmen.

At the 07th of January 2017 it was Railpool's 187 308 job to bring the tourists to their holiday resorts. Near the village of Altenmarkt I waited for this train at temperatures far below the freezing point. I was rewarded by a landscape covered with fresh fallen snow and a colorful mix of old sleeping cars on the train.
