Langsam neigen sich die Sommerferien dem Ende entgegen und somit auch die Einsätze der 103 113 vor den saisonal nach Tirol verkehrenden InterCities. Am 13. August 2016 wurde die bekannte Fotostelle bei Kirnstein im Inntal aufgesucht und der IC 1281 auf seiner Fahrt nach Schwarzach-St. Veit abgelichtet. Die 103 bleibt bis Wörgl vor dem Zug und übernachtet dann in der dortigen Zugförderung. Die Pferde im Vordergrund zeigten sich allerdings vollkommen unbeeindruckt von der Vorbeifahrt der klassischen Schnellzuglok.
Summer holidays are coming to an end and so the weekends are numbered when 103 113 pulls a seasonal InterCity train from Munich to the Tyrollean Alps. At the 13th of August 2016 I took the opportunity to take a picture of the classic Co Co Express locomotive with its IC 1281 at Kirnstein near the Austrian boarder. The horses did not share my enthusiasm and stayed unimpressed while the classic german express locomotive passed the scenery.
