Alex 183 001 "175 Jahre Eisenbahn" Volkmannsdorf (4236)
Am 08. Mai 2016 sollte ein Ekol-KLV nach Österreich aufgrund der Streckensperrung zwischen München und Rosenheim seinen Weg über Landshut und Passau nehmen. Daraus wurde dann leider nichts und ich wartete an der bekannten Fotostelle bei Volkmannsdorf vergeblich darauf. Einige Bilder vom Planverkehr wurden natürlich trotzdem gemacht, so auch von der 183 001 mit ihrem ALX 84104 nach Hof.
At the 08th of Mai 2016 a Lokomotion train to Austria was announced to be rerouted via Landshut and Passau. So I took position at a bridge over the Isar river near Volkmannsdorf. In the end this didn't take place but I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the regular trains. One of them was ALX 84104 to Hof - hauled by 183 001 with its eye-catching livery remembering Germany's first steam train of 1835.
