My favourite island of St Maarten was terribly damaged by Hurricane Irma - it has been so troubling for me to witness the destruction to such a beautiful and idyllic island and the losses to the wonderful people who live there. They will get through this and I hope many of us will choose to visit St Maarten in the future and give them our financial support to overcome this tragedy
