BoBo the Original
Ms. Piercing Eyes (Stranger 41/100)
Some of you might remember that aviation is one of my hobbies, along with photography.
Two weeks ago there was a fly-in event in one of the civil airbases in Antalya and when the organizers invited me, I couldn't resist.
It was a two-day event and most of the civil aviators of the country had come with their planes. Although I couldn't actualize my secret plans and fly, I have some chances for a couple of stranger portraits.
Meet Perihan. She was one of the hostesses of the organization and I believe she was pretty used to being photographed. After a couple of pictures, she even complained and asked me to shoot some full lengths. It was fun and I think I love working with models.
As there was a harsh sun outside, I shoot her portraits inside a hangar. At first, I thought the dark background and a well-lit face would produce a nice contrast but sadly, I haven't paid much attention to the background.
[I just checked her FB profile and it seems she is a pro model of some sort. My pictures seemed too amateur now but under those conditions, it was not too easy to pull off something decent.]
This picture is #41 in my 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
