New Faceriend
As I had some time to spend on my own, I decided to stroll around the old the city that I’ve heard being renovated lately. I visited a relative in a nearby hospital and then went to Hamamonu. Sadly I went there around 3:00 PM and the streets was blazing hot, around 40 degrees.
This district is the old city center and it was restorated short time ago and recently became a tourist attraction. There are boots and stalls everywhere and people sell various ornaments. As far as I can see, I choose the worst time of the day to be there. When I was too tired to walk around, most of the stalls were just opening. Anyways, if you like to see how the place looks, just Google “Hamamonu” and you’ll see a lot of images.
She was sitting behind a stall and heavily occupied with her cell phone. I couldn’t decide her age and hesitated for some time trying to decide if I should ask. After thinking quite a bir I decided to go for it and asked and she accepted the offer right away.
Her name is Damla and she is about to start College. She is tryinh to help a relative and works there part time.
I told her I can e-mail the photo but she just asked whether I have a “face” and I said yes, and she found my FB account with her cell and sent me a friend request. She told me I can use my “face” to send the images. The very same scene repeated a couple times during the day and I know have 3 or 4 new “friends” at my Facebook account that I was trying to keep “clean”. What should I do with these people?
