MCA staircase
A famous staircase at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA).
On a related issue, I've seen the "Prisoner of Love" exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and I was most-impressed by its social and societal message. I was deeply impressed by the seven-minute clip montage titled "Love Is The Message, The Message Is Death", which speaks pretty-loudly about the experience of living in the United States as seen from the perspective of the African-Americans. It was an eye-opening experience for someone coming from Europe, that would make my hair stand on its end at times. Having seen the famous Tate museum in London, and having been somewhat dissapointed by its nonsense art (seen through the eyes of an engineer), I was most impressed by the Chicago MCA's exhibitions with its strong social and societal messages. It was an inspirational and thought-provoking experience. One that I would highly recommend.
