Missile hangar

A missile hangar inside the 1958 USS Growler submarine.It was built during the Cold War.Each of Growlers two missile hangars could hold two Regulus 1 missiles.The missiles were stored nose to tail with the wings folded.During a launch,the missiles were brought from the hangar to the launching ramp just outside the hangar doors.
