Northern Docks Warehouses
Liverpool's Stanley Dock viewed from the Mersey ferry. The largest of the buildings is the 1901 Tobacco Warehouse said to be the biggest brick warehouse in the world with 27 million bricks being used. The area between it and the South Stanley Warehouse has been nicknamed "pneumonia ally" because it is usually in shade and in breezy Liverpool acts as a wind tunnel.
