Greg Wain graduated 1963 Caulfield (now Chisholm) Institute of Technology, Diploma of Art. 1975 graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a Fellowship Diploma of Art in ceramics.
He lectured in Ceramics at Victoria College Prahran in the 1980's and at Victoria College of the Arts when it amalgamated with VCP.
