Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, Old Sarum

Now located at the ex-Army Air Corps airfield at Old Sarum the Boscombe Down collection consists of ex-British military aircraft. Many are the cockpit only but they are very well preserved.
The rear hangar is shared with some locally based light aircraft and there were several interesting aircraft in there when I visited in March 2018.
My visit was the day after the infamous Salisbury poisonings were discovered just a few miles south of Old Sarum and I had been shopping in Salisbury that very day.
Incidentally, the airfield cafe is highly recommended for breakfast!
