E39 (LX06FKO) Metrobus
First, the OmniDekka’s were replaced by Enviro400’s, then the route cut back to Croydon Town Centre and recently it was lost to Arriva...the 405 is certainly not the same route it was once before!

A former Bexleyheath bus, this was transferred in March as an indirect engine mod float for route X26’s WVL’s but seems to have become a permanent part of route 405’s allocation. After 18 years however, it was announced recently that Metrobus will lose the 405 to Arriva London in August next year.
