It grows on the roadside, abandoned fields and dune areas, spontaneously emerging on vacant lots or on sidewalks and public beds, being, unfortunately, torn out for considering it an invasive bush.

The flowers are tasty and can be used in salads, fruit salads and to decorate drinks. The dried crushed leaves are used in teas or as condiment. It is ideal to reap the flowers when you will consume, to enjoy your freshness.

It is pollinated by bees.

In landscaping can be used in flower beds, and also in gardeners.
