Cheadle Lake

This former log pond for Champion Plywood Mill has be transformed into a wonderful local park. It has walk trails, picnic ground, an event area, and the lake which is home to duck, geese, coots and other waterfowl. The water tower is one on the few remaining signs of the mill and forms a icon background to most images of the lake, as does Peterson Butte.
