Juvenile Red Phalarope

This is an artic sandpiper, breeds on the artic tundra and winter in the artic ocean. When they migrate it normally is over the ocean, not land. This bird caused a sensation in the birding community when it showed up at the WRL dam base a couple of weeks ago. Probably the only one I'll ever see in my life. First time ever seen in Dallas county. When something like this happens, it is usually a juvenile that got lost. I was lucky I got some shots after hearing about it.
