Nuss bar

Finally after more than two and a half years, they took this out of my chest. It was to correct a condition called pectus excavatum where your chest is basically sunken. This piece of metal, called the nuss bar, acts like a brace for the ribs to come to a normal position.

 

It had quite grown inside my ribs though and in order to remove it they had to break one of my ribs :(
