This auto graveyard in the middle of nowhere in sweden is a really interesting place. Accordingly, the impressive scrap collection was created by a mechanic family that sold car parts to Norway in times after the second world war. They wanted to avoid import bans and import duties on cars. So the cars were built apart on the Swedish side, then brought in pieces across the border and completed again in Norway. A clever business concept that was working till 1986 when the import duties were abolished. At this time, the workshop was closed. Nevertheless, the people brought their wrecked cars on the site. Approximately one thousand cars should be here - a rough estimate.
