Rogue Automotive is a performance luxury brand that's been in the business since the mid 1950s. Starting as a manufacturer of humble industrial vehicles, Rogue would make a dramatic entry into the world of high performance cars by the 2040s with their first hypercar, the Firepower GT. This notably coincided with current head of the Rogue "empire" being handed off to Adam Guerini, after his father retired. Rogue's automotive branch would grow quickly to have a large roster of performance-oriented cars, from luxurious cruisers, all-terrain trucks, and extreme motorsport-inspired hypercars. Besides having the deep pockets of an industrial empire behind them, Rogue grew so quickly due to their reputation of making some of the craziest, most outlandish cars on the market. Their latest hypercar, the Supernova, was no exception. A hybrid hypercar powered by electric motors and a hydrogen turbine producing 1,700 horsepower was something unlike anything seen on the road at the time, and later variants only got crazier. The Supernova's time is coming to a close, however. Production is ending by 2060, with a new flagship model set to take its place. Many enthusiasts wondered what could possibly take the Supernova's place. It seemed to be the peak of high-performance automotive insanity that Rogue was famous for. Where could they go from here? An answer came at the 2059 Chicago Auto Show. Turns out Rogue's next flagship would broaden its horizons beyond the tarmac, and on to rougher terrain. The Rogue Wildfire RS was here, and it claimed to be the world's first all-terrain hypercar. The Wildfire isn't the first time Rogue's taken it's high-performance aptitude off-road. It isn't even the first time they've taken a flagship hypercar off the pavement. Every flagship model had an "AT-H" variant that focused on taking the hypercars off-road, but those were always very limited in production and based off cars made for use on-road. The Wildfire is the first of Rogue's hypercars to be designed from the ground-up to take whatever terrain is thrown at it. The Wildfire has a standard ride height of 7.5 inches, and a maximum of up to 13 thanks to an advanced magnetic ride suspension setup. Strong titanium skidplates keep the underside well-protected from debris. Special all-terrain tires made just for the Wildfire are used, and those tires are kept in check with an advanced traction management system. All four wheels are independent of eachother, and the systems can determine how much power should go to an individual wheel for maximum performance. Each one of those wheels get their own motor, which all together produce an earth-shattering, all-electric 1,800 horsepower. This give the Wildfire a 0-60 of just over 3 seconds, and a top speed limited to over 180MPH. Active aero systems throughout the Wildfire make sure it's able to put all that speed and power down, which Rogue states in can do on nearly any terrain. Despite the eye-watering numbers the Wildfire makes, it's not completely savage. A luxurious interior and various comfort settings can make the drive to the trails quite serene, and the lack of a large combustion engine means the Wildfire has plentiful storage in both its front and rear compartments for great practicality. Rogue offers plenty of extras to improve the Wildfire experience, including an "overlander package" which includes, among other options, a portable solar generator, military-grade emergency tracking beacons, and a whole extensive camping kit complete with a compact tent for two. The Rogue Wildfire's development, while clearly successful, had some notable setbacks, including the alleged theft of one of the prototypes. Despite this, it's set to hit the trails in the currently-standard RS trim by 2060.
