Bloodfall: Launch Control
I think it's a control room. What else could it be down there? We don't have time to waste, we gotta move. J and I bolt down the rockwall across the runway. Got a quick look at the bomber. Smaller than the Starlight One for sure, but there should be room for J and I.J kicks down the door into the room. On one wall there's three computers sticking out that look straight out of a cold war-era spy film, and ton another just a bunch of buttons, gauges, and switches. Sure looks like a control room to me. Whatever it is it's good enough since there's an officer in here. An officer and a soldier, but J made him half the man he used to be. He was about to do the same to the officer, but considering the kind of things these shitheads in full body leather know, we'll need him.
LT: "Wait!"
JD: "What? We don't have time, I---oh, right. Commander...."
"I-I-I have nothing to say! You waste your time sparring me!"
JD: "We're already wasting enough time as is. A little more won't hurt."
LT: "We need that bomber. How do we fly it out of here?"
"You want to escape? Never! You sub-breeds will suffer and die here once the Führer finds you!"
JD: "Führer fuckface is dead. And so will you be if you don't get that rocket plane going for us!"
"Never! I'm one with the master race! I'll never kneel to neanderthals like you!"
LT: "Well then, guess we and every one of your master race buddies die in a bright radioactive flash."
"Radioactive?...."
JD: "What if I told you we brought a nuke and hid it off in one of this base's little nooks. And it'll blow us all to atomized shit if--"
LT: "Our hearts stop, which sooner or later they will if we're stuck up here. There's too many of you up here, you'll kill us sooner or later, and thus yourself."
"Your hearts?"
LT: "We have heart monitors on us connected to the nuke. If our hearts stop the mission fails and it goes off. If we get off here our hearts keep beating and the nuke doesn't go. If you want everyone here to be vaporized though, be our guest."
"...fine! Fine...we can launch you from here. Get in the bomber and I'll guide on how to operate if from here."
LT: "I can fly it just fine, you just need to open the runway."
"Fine, but it's on an aircraft catapult. I'll still need to prep you for that."
JD: "Whatever. "Let's go!"
