Nikographer [Jon]
Happy New Year
Drama in the nest... another male had just swooped "in"...
I took a year off of posting, all of 2018.
Just before the start of 2018 I also quit FB and IG. Near the end of 2018 I started to share already shared photos on my blog nikographer.com/ and also I shared some new drawings (and old ones too).
It was an interesting year, I still took photos - traveled to Florida and other places, but photography was not nearly the same priority for me, and my online/social activity went to nearly nonexistent.
Also regarding the Smugmug/flickr deal, I was at first excited, but then as the cost seemed to rise (I realized I had paid 50$ for the past 2 renewals, and that the expired credit card was still being used, and that I could not delete the card info itself) and the free account limits went to 1000 images - I decided to prune my account to below 1000 images, even though I'm still pro, so I removed about 5,000 images that I'd post over 13 years. I'm not planning to renew - and I'm going to have one paid site and that's at my own domain name - nikographer.com/.
