Highland Prestige - Aberdeen Harbour Scotland 8/10/17

I captured Highland Prestige at Waterloo Quay east this afternoon, thought I'd share the view I see as I approach the berth, it is a busy road leading into Union Square and the city centre, the scale of the ship is evident against the car passing along side it, a few hundred yards along you come to Regent Quay and the main city traffic road, it can be hectic with heavy traffic though while waiting at the traffic lights you can enjoy views such as this .

 

Vessel HIGHLAND PRESTIGE (IMO: 9364021, MMSI: 235050073) is an offshore tug/supply ship built in 2007 and currently sailing under the flag of United Kingdom. HIGHLAND PRESTIGE has 87m length overall and beam of 19m. Her gross tonnage is 3702 tons.
