Majisto´s Magical Workshop

Hello everybody :) My friend hellboy.lego ( www.flickr.com/photos/hellboy95 ) and I decided to make a lego Classic Castle series: Every month we are going to make a reinterpretation of a Classic Castle set (so we will make 24 MOCs in total). For my fourth creation I decided to make a re do of the 6048 Majisto's Magical Workshop, hellboy.lego ( www.flickr.com/photos/hellboy95 ) made an awesome reinterpretation of the 6054 Forestmen's Hideout - make to sure to check it out on his profil :)

 

In my opinion the Workshop is really a great set and I loved playing with it when I was a child. Especially the possibilitie to open the Workshop in the middle was one of my favorite details, therefore I really wanted to include that function in my creation, too. The tree and the use of the teeth plates on the facade are inspired by ranghaal (www.flickr.com/photos/154489981@N04) - make sure to check out his great account. Furthermore thanks to dr.zarkow (www.flickr.com/photos/dr-zarkow) for the help :)

 

Moreover I also want to make a shoot out to brick.ninja (www.flickr.com/photos/brickninja), who made an fantastic and very inspiring version of the Workshop some time ago :)
