I've been cutting snowflakes since Elementary school but never had anything worth remembering until I did my first one that was more than just triangles and squares...

This inspired me to actually do this as a hobby. I don't do them very often (usually 2+ a month, sometimes as many as 10), but I go out of my way to try to make them unique. Strange for a nearly 30 year old man to be interested in this kind of hobby, but I'm also interested in reading, XBOX, riding my bicycle, watching movies, listening to music, and many more other things than I have space for here. I used to write poetry and short stories, as well as draw decent (though not great) pictures, but I've moved on to snowflakes as my current artistic outlet.

I'm American, but live in Korea with my Korean wife and 3 year old girl where I teach English at 15+ different academies, kindergartens, companies, private homes, and elsewhere. I'm 28 years old.
