A FeRTografEr.
I started serious photography in 1974 (yes, that long ago) when I got my first 'real' camera, a Practika Nova 1b with a 50mm f2.8 Domiplan lens. Moved on to a Zenit E with the 50mm F2 lens, a Pentacon Lydith 30mm and a Pentax 135mm.
Sold all that a few years later and bought an Olympus OM1 with 50mm f1.8 Zuiko, a Tamron 28mm and (I think) a Photax 200mm.
Got fed up with photography around 1984 when money became tight and an enforced change of job loomed.
Discovered digital in the late '90s and was immediately taken by its possibilities. I've owned a range of digital cameras over the years.

I post my pics here for fun and for comment. If you feel like commenting, then please feel free to do so. However, if you want to fave any of my images, I think it is only polite to make a comment to say why you think they deserve the accolade. Similarly, if you fave one of my pics or make me a contact, but don't have any pics of your own to share, I'll not hesitate in blocking you. Finally, please don't ask me to join any pool where you post 1 and comment on 27, or where you expect me to award some gaudy sparkly animated certificate, and don't award me one either - they will be deleted.
Possibly you may think these are unfair, but they are my rules.
Allegedly these are my most interesting :o)

Good at what he does, whether in work or play. A good help to me in my recent placement in a local secondary school as I undertake a career change and am a fledgling professional. As has been said of him before "As a friend in need he's a... bugger when he's not about!". A good influence to those around him; has an aura of respect. And before anyone questions what I have written... I was not prompted by Zog the Frog to say this! Not many people know this but he recently won a Chip Dookin competition!
