By day, zrrtgccr is just another anonymous working stiff haunting the streets of Washington DC. By night, he returns to his subterranean lair beyond the city limits to relentlessly abuse polygons and pixels. He creates images as snapshots from his stream of consciousness that realize his esthetic and formal concerns. His early work was inspired by surrealism, emphasizing deeply personal and idiosyncratic narratives. Over time the work evolved towards a kind of digital abstract formalism that rejects evidence of the hand, with little or no emphasis on the figure or narrative but, with a tendency to depict figuration.
