Hi, Its Zamilur Rashid here. I was born and raised in Dhaka,Bangladesh. Though now i live in York,United Kingdom. ( I am a final year student of Economics and Econometrics here at the University of York)

  

Interest:

 

My main focus has always been landscapes( HDR included). I also enjoy to roam around and pressing shutter in the streets( Street Photography i guess :P).

 

I also like to take Portraits of the people i love. ( But not unknown or Half People, i.e: Don't like event photography that much :P )

 

Not too much into macro photography specially i am very uncomfortable working with insects! Though recently started liking bird photography.

Also interested in music. I used to play bass. And during my time at Notre Dame College, i had a band. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Audioslave are my all time favorite.

 

I have a keen interent in history and my most favorite pastime is to watch documentaries.

1. N A Kabir: Also known is "Avi Bhai"He is a "boro bhai" from Notre Dame College. Now studies at University of Hull.

Avi bhai introduced me to photography in 2009. And since then i am hooked up. He is an amazing wildlife photographer and doesn't want to show off his work :( so doesn't have any flickr account :(. A devoted Olympus fan with a desire for Canon 600mm prime :P.

 

2. Craig F. Walker: an American photojournalist. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography "for his intimate portrait of a teenager who joins the Army at the height of insurgent violence in Iraq, poignantly searching for meaning and manhood.

 

He is an example of how to bring out a story using photographs.

4. Catch The dream (Mohammad Moniruzzaman): Although i don't know him personally, his images are just outstanding. Specially the composition.
