I am a student at Polaris ELS, and I am in a photography class.
I find that the subject matter and the composition of a shot always come first whenever I am taking a photo, color and lighting follow in after for me.
When it comes to the subject of my photos I prefer to take shots of nature and close up shots, but I also like to take images that imply strong emotion.
For the most part i dont mind taking any kind of picture, but my least favorite photos would have to be portraits, I find faces too simplistic for my taste, I prefer to find stories in something you would see everyday, but never look at twice.
I enjoy the look of digital art. To me it shows the inner creativity of a person, to bring forth something they could not find in life, but expresses the feeling of the image better. That said, I enjoy the use of Photoshop to bring out the statement of a photo.
of the various forms of art, peotry, song, drawing, sculpture and so on, writing is my personal favorite, but the saying "A picture is worth 1000 words" really is true, you can find a story in a photo, and that is what I like to search for.

Sean has a good eye for interesting things to photograph. I especially like his photos that are more focused on nature (his photos of leaves and trees). They display a lot of interesting texture that I really like. He is also very good at using photoshop to make a photo even more interesting.
Your photos are very abstract and cool, I like how you have a lot of concept shots that make you think.
Sean has a strong grasp of ambient light. A rather strong example of this is "Jenna In The Pink." Between the expression, the lighting, and the masterful overlay, you cant help but look at it again and again, and again.
