I only got interested in photography in the last few years. My husband brought me a Nikon Coolpix S52 and that was that. Now I'm using a Coolpix S9100. I'm still only a point and shoot photographer. But I'm getting better. I am also an artist, I like to draw and paint. But haven't in many years. I loved to paint horses and landscapes. But have tried my hand at other subjects. Most of my photos are of my 19 cats because that's about all I have to photograph. And I couldn't think of a better subject.

I am house bound unless someone takes me places. Which doesn't happen except for Doctor's appointments. I have Congestive Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or COPD for short. I'm tied to an oxygen machine 24/7. And I have difficulty walking any distance at all. But I'm enjoying my life. I have so much to live for and I'm not planning of going anyplace soon.

I love muscle cars and have owned quite a few and driven even more than that. I use to race Go Karts. And not the back yard type but the type that go 100mph+. I just sold my 1967 Pontiac Firebird. It needed too much work and would have cost to much to get it running again.

I am an animal lover and have had white rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, chickens, cats, dogs and horses as pets. But my favorites are horses and cats. I've had more cats in my life than I can put a number to. And I never took photos of any of them. It wasn't until I started on Flicker that I realized what I had missed. So now that's what I do. Take photos of my 19 cats.

Because of my health I might not always be able to comment on all photos. But I do try and comment on at least one of each of my contacts photos every day.
