my first written testimony goes to dear darla (thephotozoo). she is a photography mastermind. she IS THE REAL DEAL..ALWAYS original. her creativity knows no bounds, and I'm constantly inspired by her. her photography takes me away from real life, stirs emotion, a sweet escape, if only for a few minutes out of the day. her work is captivating, and emotionally exquisite. her photographic series works are a visual storybook and I am in awe of how her brilliant creative mind consistantly pushes the limits with no end in sight. Darla's work hooked me from day one, and I suspect I will be a fan of her work for forever & besides all of that I just love this GAH girl. !

i never had the exact right words for darla winn photography, until i saw yet another moving work, this morning, and wrote this comment: once again, darla, you mine the subliminal, to discover the sublime. that one sentence accurately describes my experience of viewing the entirety of darla's substantial oeuvre, in photography and video: her works take the viewer from the subliminal to the sublime. darla's works are a universe of her unique creation. and they are an extraordinary gift, a movement in pieces away from mundanity. i should thank her more often for that *s ~emmanuela

Every drop of passion that lives within her, is seen in her wonderful body of images. She's got "it" and I'm so glad to have come across her world on Flickr. So many of her shots have me saying to myself, "I wish I did that."
