I'm the co-founder and President of the Institute for Humane Education (www.humaneeducation.org) and faculty for Cambridge College, as well as a writer and humane educator.
In addition to creating IHE’s M.Ed. and certificate programs and leading IHE’s Sowing Seeds and MOGO (Most Good) workshops, I'm the author of Most Good, Least Harm: A Simple Principle for a Better World and a Meaningful Life (2009), The Power and Promise of Humane Education (2004) for educators, and Above All, Be Kind: Raising a Humane Child in Challenging Times (2003) for parents. I've also written books for young people, including Claude and Medea: The Hellburn Dogs (2007) and So, You Love Animals: An Action-Packed, Fun-Filled Book to Help Kids Help Animals (2004).
