Looking through Zoe's photographs, I can say with confidence that she can do it all. Not only that, but she can do it all really well. Landscapes, portraits, concert photography, still lifes, street photography, photojournalism, weddings: her eye is exceptional and apparently knows no bounds. Her landscapes are sublimely understated, and beautifully bleak. And when I look through her portraits, I feel like I know the subject in some strangely personal way. She somehow manages to capture her subjects' most genuine and, in some way, unguarded moments. Her still lifes exhibit her wonderful sense of geometry and composition, and her always tasteful and never over-the-top style of post processing. To say the least, she is a talented and prolific photographer, and hell, she's only, what, 19 or 20 years old. Not to mention, of course, her kindness and curiousity. Zoe is one of the few people here on flickr who have really made it feel like a community, and I am tremendously grateful to her for that. Zoe is going places with her photography, no question about that, and I am thrilled to be able to watch her get there. Thank you, Zoe.
