I have always been into photography but like everything else in my life, it was overlooked. In 2007, everything changed after my first purchase of a Canon XTI. It made me change how I saw life, nature and the world. I enjoy all types of photography... from macro shots to portraits. However, my first love are landscape shots which is tough in the Dallas, Texas area. I have taken workshops in Oregon and Utah which have shaped how I shoot, compose and process my photos today. I know I still have a long way to go but I feel that I learn something with every click of the shutter.

Besides being an amateur photographer, I am a father, a husband, and an IT professional. Sometimes its hard to take a breath and pause but I believe Ferris Bueller said it best, "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." With that said... thank you for stopping and looking around. :)
