"Time won't take the boy out of this man"

As a kid, one of my favorite times was when my father would bring out the slide projector and show us all of the pictures he had taken on a recent trip/vacation. Occasionally, we'd come across an empty spot in the projector, to which he would exclaim "Polar Bear in a Snowstorm!". Those are truly fond memories.

I am: a husband, a father, a child of God, a follower, a leader, a mess, a procrastinator, a friend, a helper, a geek, alive, not as angry as the picture might make you think, still trying to find my niche.

Always eager to learn and grow, I look to fellow photographers, amateurs and professionals alike, for inspiration. I have found the collection of talent here on flickr to be quite immense, broad and impressive. As I find other photographers who's work I enjoy, I add them to my list of contacts so I can stay aware of the work they are contributing. I hope to use the photos they create as an inspiration and guide as I continue to learn the art of photography. I hope that as I grow as a photographer that I can have a collection of work as impressive as the rest I have found here.
