Anna's photographs seem to communicate the kind of beauty people desperately try (and fail) to explain to each other when they talk about the places they love. Whether or not she's photographing things that are special to her, she imbues her images with a sense of importance – a sort of slow, quiet glory that surrounds you when you seem them. I tend to get the feeling that I want to spend the rest of my life in each of the scenes she's captured, but there's never enough of me, and always another one of her new photographs.
