I am self taught and create using all forms- I don't know the rules and therefore never find any limitations in using any and all tools available to express myself. I am driven by color and flow, excited and alive when my artistic energy overtakes me and makes something where others can find beauty and their own meaning. When I close my eyes I see only art, when I open them I see art in everything.

Shellie is a supreme artist with a tremendously strong and individual vision, and an energy to match. Her images are never less than stunning and breathtaking, uncanny and beautiful. They operate in a place where our normal rationality may not work anymore, but they have their own internal logic - causing that kick or flash inside us, which insists that they are familiar and strange at the same time. This is a quality that belongs only to the highest art, and can be summoned only by the truly gifted. Art, by definition, has to operate on many levels, and Shellie's work will vibrate and resonate, and echo, the only limit being in the soul of the viewer. Physically, intellectually and emotionally Shellie's works have a punch that stuns, and when you come round, you will breathe new air, and see wonders. I consider Shellie one of the finest, inspirational and transcendant artists that I have come across on Flickr, or anywhere else for that matter, and I believe that the work that you see and experience on these pages, if you let it, will quicken your blood, feed your brain and move your heart.
