I'm an amateur when it comes to photography, but I love taking photos. They say that the best camera is the one you always have with you. I often see things I'd like to remember or show others, and I love having a small camera that I can carry around with me everywhere. My Canon Ixus fits in my pocket and I try to take it with me wherever I go. Some of the oldest photos here have been taken with various cameraphones.

Light, shadows, trees and waves fascinate me. I also take pictures from events in my hometown, Tromsø, a city in the North of Norway, above the Polar Circle. I drink a lot of tea and coffee and will sometimes post photos of coffee art from the local cafés here.

You'll also notice that I have a lot of knitting pictures uploaded, and that's because I use Flickr to store my Ravelry photos, a site where I share my knitting projects.

In 2011 I will try to take one photo every day and I hope to learn from it and maybe become a bit better at photography.
