Who am I?

A question I still ponder as of today. Living in Svendborg, Denmark, for the time being.

What do I photograph?

A bit of this, a bit of that. Mostly things that do not move too fast... I'm a lousy grandchildren photographer!

I like strange shapes, colors and lines, weird B/W photos, where you have to use your imagination.

Now I'm retired, I browse the archives, and post whatever I think is good enough to show to the Flickr world. A slow ongoing process - paired with any new images that I think you will all love :-)

I love to see your personal comments - awards not so much, as they mostly clutter up the comment stream.

I always post full EXIF & GPS data, if possible. We are here to learn from each other. Knowledge sharing is key to make us all better photographers.

Gear journey:

I started out in the mid-seventies, with a cheap Petri SLR and a 50mm lens. All I could afford. Tri-X and HP5 were the films of choice those days. Later I got better equipment, more lenses, but for quite a few years I used a Canon A1 with a 35 f/2 and a 85 f/1.8.

If I were to use only 2 primes today that would still be my focal lengths of choice. Unfortunately the A1 died in the mid-nineties.

Fast forward to 2004, where I started to believe that digital cameraes were good enough for my use. Enter the Canon 10D, 20D, 40D, 7D... until 2015, where the 7D was up for replacement.

Canon was asleep at the (mirrorless) wheel, so they lost a customer, and I sold all of my Canon gear.

Enter the Fuji age... now on a X-T2, which I haven't yet outgrown. Would love to have one with IBIS, though. Several lenses as well, both Fuji and some old adapted ones.

Enough gear talk - I have my share of GAS, I must admit. Love good tools to play with.
