I saw one of his images once - and was intrigued and I have been every since. Not only are his images Architectural Abstracts of the highest quality, but his titles with the trademark dislike of vowels are also intriguing and attractive. I am tempted often to request that he add his images to the "I wish that I had taken that" group, but I realise that his ability is so far above mine that me wishing I had taken that is inappropriate. He is in a place that I can only aspire to and I am sure that he acts as an inspiration for many more than me.

i've been wanting to write Zel a testimonial for some time but could never get the words out how i wanted. he showcases a high appreciation for composition while understanding when to follow them and when to break them. i would classify him as a true colorist and he really has a sharp eye for not only color but the details that go into colors. minimalism is his key and he has opened the world up in my eyes. every image is done perfectly... if i had to limit my contacts to just 10 people Zel would make that list. he is the real deal.

I consider myself fortunate to have stumbled upon Zel's collection and regularly find inspiration in his work. You are a talented and warm person Zel. Keep doing what you're doing.

It’s hard to describe the impact meeting Zel’s pictures has had on me – not only on how I take pictures, but on my whole way of viewing pictures in general! The tightness of lines, cropping and colours are stunningly simplistic, yet able to convey not only the surface, but almost the inner soul of the objects he’s portraying. Zel turned out not only to be this outstanding, jawdroppingly good photographer, but also a very kind and warm heart, who I by now is immensly proud to be able to call a friend.
