I first met Gardengal on Fotolog, and added her because I was going through this kick of befriending people whose name begins with "G". Granted, that's not her real name, but I didn't know it at the time. This scheme really didn't pan out, as I remain friends only with Gretel and Gustav; mainly just so I can drop those names in daily conversation. Gardengal, GG, or Gigi, as I have just at this moment started to call her, remains an enigma. Why she's an enigma is a puzzle I have not yet figured out. We shared mix CD's once; I like her taste in music, and I like her taste in photography. I do not share her taste in manback.

I met GardenGal when she was being attacked by ninja squirrels in central park. I went over to help her only to find out that she can hold her own against them. After she was done with them she attacked me thinking I had something to do with it. 2 broken ribs, 1 broken knee cap and a ruptured spleen later she figured out I had nothing to do with those ninja squirrels and carried me to the hospital. I grew fond of her and her garden ways.

It is fantastic to become aquainted with someone who shares my love for the polaroid format and to be able to share ideas on technique as well as a similar aesthetic taste.
