Jon says:

Brian is some sort of dervish of photographic passion, infecting the people he comes into contact with like the patient zero of Rodinal... but he's not just some film dork (...) - he sees the world with a clarity that is breathtaking and often inspiring.

Brians photos truly capture the essence of Tokyo life. His shots are a beautiful reminder that this fancy paints world is not all so fancy paints after all. He is quite the inspiration.

You're not likely to find another photographer as sincere and committed as Brian, or one who'd as readily buy you a beer or toss you his last roll of Tri-X. Brian is the Paris Hilton of Oklahoma.

I have met very few photographers that are as passionate as Brian about their craft. And it really shows in his work. His photographs for me are honest and sincere. From someone who really loves his surroundings. Tokyo is REALLY lucky to have you Z, I am glad you're there and sharing your work here. And thanks for letting me crash bud.
