To me there is nothing to "capture", only samples of flowing light to play with. There are endless possibilities. A photo is never a finished product. As the Zen poem Sandokai states:

"Right in light there is darkness but don't confront it as darkness.

Right in darkness there is light but don't see it as light."

where "light" refers to the forms we thought we "captured" and darkness refers to the endless possibilities in the sample of flowing light.
