After collecting a house full of artwork that I have made over the years, I decided to photograph my artwork. Originally I had high hopes of finding a book publisher interested in publishing my book on welding projects. Since that did not work out, I ended up going with CreateSpace.com which is a print on demand publisher. If you would like to check out my book, you can view the entire book for free at www.zannjones.com If you think the book has potential and you know someone in the book publishing business, please show them my web site. I still have all of my artwork, so I can retake any of the photos or modify the book as necessary. Also a link to my web site would be appreciated since I rank 29 on Google search for the key phase "welding projects".

Hopefully my pictures will inspire people to consider welding as an art medium. Welding allows you to make things that cannot be duplicated in any other medium. If you feel inadequate because you have never taken an art class, join the crowd. I am a Civil Engineer with zero art training. I do enjoy making things and coming up with new ideas. Being self-taught can be an advantage rather than a hindrance. I never have been told what is good art and what is bad art. I just like making things that make you stop and smile. Hopefully my artwork will encourage others to try new things. Eventually I would enjoy seeing welding as a common art medium. With the art world obsession with artists like Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keefe, etc., change would be good.
